Concert on Tuesday, May 20 in our Sanctuary

 Rebecca (Perkins) Ryan is currently lecturer, director of choirs and director of the SullivanConservatory at MercyhurstUniversity in Pennsylvania.  Becky came to South Hadley with her Air Force father, mom Bobbie, sister Beth and brother Eric, in the 60s and was active in CenterChurch and in the high school musical groups at that time.  Her mother was a longtime member of our choir.  Becky graduated from MountHolyoke with a music/psychology degree.  She has also studied at BostonUniversity, UMass-Amherst, the Tanglewood Institute.  She is currently a member of Temple Anshe Hesed’s High Holy Day Quartet and often serves as a guest conductor, clinician, adjudicator and accompanist for festivals.  She is a member of the Music Educators National conference, PA Music Educators Assoc., National Assoc. of Teachers of Singing, and the American Choral Directors Assoc.  Becky and Cindy performed together back in the 60s on several occasions.  We are delighted to sponsor her college choir for a free concert here at CenterChurch.  We invite everyone to attend (bring friends) this free concert and enjoy some excellent college musicians’ talents.
